Tear of Shiva

The Rudraksha tree grows in the Himalayas and other parts of the world. Its legend begins with Lord Shiva opening his eyes and shedding a tear from joyous fulflillment, which fell to the earth and grew into the rudraksha tree. This necklace is a replica of the sacred seed that has been cast in sterling silver. It carries a 3mm faceted gemstone of your choice and a sterling cable chain of small drawn links. It is a great layering piece with our Lotus or Ganesha necklace on a 20" chain. The original seed that made this design was given to me by my teacher Shiva Rea!
